The first time we see the power of the empire is with their inital attack with the legendary weapon; The Deathstar. This demonstration is so rememberable because of it's power to blow up a populated planet. In the original the Deathstar is piloted by imperial officers however, this illustration reimagines that scenerio with stormtroopers at the helm using their iconic storm trooper aim to completely miss their target of the planet Alderaan and blow up their own fleet instead. 

This moment redefines how the rebels obtained the illusive death star plans. Illustrating a B1 battle droid going against it's core programming and sneaking the deathstar plans offboard.

Went for the style of a Entomology journal researching (the now extinct) Kyber critters, cockroach-like insects that would feast on the mineral 'kyber' which is known for powering the lightsaber of the Jedi, however due to order 66 and the destruction of many kyber caves across the galaxy these critters died off from starvation.

Concept of a droid character that's been built from mangled parts of many different droids. The intention of the scene is to convey that the droid is depressed and ashamed of it's existence, hiding away in the shadows amongst the rest of the discarded rubbish.

Environment concept for greenhouse domes on the desert planet of Tatooine. The sleek design of the domes reflects the style of the empire, contrasting to the natural landscape, implying they have just come in and set up camp on territory that doesn't belong to them.

Back on Tatooine this concept gives the repulsor train vehicle a redesign, transforming it into a high speed food truck. Each compartment of the train delivering a different native snack from the popcorn-like candy 'kettle' to a make your own stew bar to in-universe 'meiloorun fruit' smoothies.
