Selkie of Portrush

The Selkie of Portrush originated as an excuse to learn animation techniques and motion graphics. What became of that is a retelling of the fable 'the Selkie of Portrush' which tells the story of a selkie, which is a mythical creature of a seal that sheds it's skin and becomes a beautiful woman. The selkie has it's skin stolen by a fisherman and is forced to spend life with him until she finds her skin back.

Have you Spotted them all?

#magicspotted was a tourism advertisement concept during the early stages of the 'Embrace a Giant Spirit' tourism campaign. The outcome was a variety of illustrated journal-esque style pages depicting various mythical and magical creatures as well as polaroid photos of tourism locations where these creatures were known to be spotted. The goal of the campaign concept was to encourage individuals to go to these attractions and go off on a hunt to find the creatures using the hashtag #magicspotted on their adventures.
